| As parents and taxpayers, we are proud of this district's well-funded schools and talented teachers. But research and personal experiences have led us to believe the leadership of SAU 16 is failing our children. While social and emotional needs are critical to our children's successful upbringing, there is a substantial body of research proving that academic challenge actually enhances emotional growth and self-confidence. The current SAU 16 leadership has also tragically abandoned our district's long-standing tradition of comprehensive, thorough, parent, teacher, and community involvement in decision-making. |

| This website (and all of its pages and links) is a good faith attempt to provide the community with a centralized location of background information about changes that have occurred at our schools, and namely, CMS. If anyone sees anything contained in this good faith representation to be factually incorrect or derogatory in any way, please contact us immediately and we will review it and change it if this has accidentally occurred. |
